I currently work on a project investigating the influence of ageing on competition and parental care. I am particularly interested in how risk taking behaviour and care investment vary with age, and how different reproductive strategies influence life history trade-offs in offspring.
I have diverse interests in behavioural ecology and evolutionary biology; with past research assessing the effects of competitor odour on foraging strategies in harvest mice, interspecific grooming behaviour on salmon farms and dynamics of pathogen transmission in Lepidoptera.
